Wildlife Australia: Wombat

Förbi Andreea Lucia Mihalache

Wombats are one of the most interesting marsupials, native to Australia. They love to dig, make tunnels and are fascinatingly fast for their built. Oddly enough, their pouch is faced backward which allows them to dig effortlessly without scooping dirt inside the pouch. In the wild, wombats only live from three to five years. This happens because they are the main meal for many predators in their surrounding.
